Thank you for choosing Daily Detox (“the App”). We value your trust and take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle, store, and protect the information you generate when using Daily Detox.

1. No Data Collection or External Storage

• On‑Device Data Only
  All habit snaps, logs, schedules, insights, and travel‑time estimates you create or generate within Daily Detox are stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on our servers.

• No Third‑Party Sharing
  There is no automatic sharing of your personal information with any external parties. The only exception is if you choose to enable iCloud sync (see Section 4), which uses your personal iCloud account.

2. Encryption and Security

• Local Encryption
  Every habit photo, timestamp, and analytics file is encrypted at rest on your device, safeguarding against unauthorized access.

• Device Authentication
  App access relies solely on your device’s built‑in security (passcode, Touch ID, Face ID, etc.). Daily Detox never sees or stores your biometric data or passcodes.

3. On‑Device Machine Learning

• Local Processing Only
  All habit‑recognition, “Done” marking from your snaps, and personalized suggestions run entirely on your device. No image or text data is sent off‑device for analysis.

• Smarter With Every Snap
  Machine‑learning models update locally as you use the App, improving accuracy over time—while keeping your data private.

4. Optional iCloud Sync

• User‑Controlled Backups
  If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your encrypted data will back up and sync across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac using your iCloud account.

• No External Servers
  Even with sync enabled, Daily Detox does not maintain any external repositories—your data remains under your iCloud control.

5. Children’s Privacy

• Intended Audience
  Daily Detox is designed for users aged 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, please obtain parental or guardian permission before use.

• No External Collection
  Since all data remains on your device or within your personal iCloud, there is no external repository of information, including children’s data.

6. Your Responsibility

• Device Protection
  You are responsible for keeping your device secure. If your device is lost, stolen, or unlocked by others, your Daily Detox data could be exposed.

• Data Retention & Deletion
  You control how long entries remain. Deleting a habit entry or uninstalling Daily Detox permanently erases the corresponding data from your device (and from iCloud, if sync was enabled).

7. Crisis Resources Disclaimer

• Informational Only
  Daily Detox may display links or suggestions for health and wellness resources. These are provided “as is,” and we do not operate or verify the accuracy of any external services. In an emergency, please contact local authorities or professional services immediately.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Any changes will appear in‑app with a new “Effective Date.” Your continued use of Daily Detox after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
